AVNT collaborated with Gnarcotic and Lil Gnar to launch the new Gnarcotic “Skelly Runners,” a cutting-edge EVA footwear product conceptualized by Lil Gnar. Despite the challenges of launching from low momentum, short notice, and overcoming initial doubts, our goal was to ensure the success of the Skelly Runners and contribute to the overall growth and success of Gnarcotic’s brand and revenue in 2023 and beyond.

Objective

1. To partner with Gnarcotic and Lil Gnar to help with the launch of the new Gnarcotic “Skelly Runners,” a new EVA footwear product conceptualized and launched by Lil Gnar.

2. Overall helping with marketing and strategy to ensure the success of the Skelly Runners, and the overall growth and success of Gnarcotic’s brand and revenue in 2023 and beyond.

The Challenge

Launching From Low Momentum:

Lil Gnar had taken off 8+ months of running Gnarcotic, The AVNT team was challenged with not only launching a successful new footwear line, but doing so with little initial momentum.

Starting On Short Notice:

Our team officially got started working with Lil Gnar and Gnarcotic on Thursday, one day before the official Friday footwear launch. This gave our team little time to not only onboard Gnarcotic, but also develop and launch a strategy specifically for Gnarcotic to ensure success.

Overcoming Facebook Account Malfunction and Initial Doubts:

The night before the first drop, our team was able to utilize our connection at Meta to get their Ad Account unbanned. However, Lil Gnar had old campaigns still running when it was initially banned, that re-launched and spent $5,000 overnight on old ads. We had to overcome this initial issue that was out of our hands, Convincing Lil Gnar to give us 1 day to show him results that would make the Brand profitable even after our initial $5,000 loss that was out of our control.

Our Strategy

Digital Advertising:

• After the initial account malfunction that caused Lil Gnar’s account to waste $5,000 on old ads he still had setup prior to the account being banned, our team was on thin ice and had to produce results immediately that would show Lil Gnar that our team could overcome this initial loss and show significant returns that would make the brand profitable and it worth his investment.

• Our team spent the next 24 hours making key account optimizations that significantly increased add to cart rates by 52% and conversion rates by 71% on the Gnarcotic website.

• This led to us generating over $120,000 on the first drop, and over $400,000 in revenue in the first 90 days working with AVNT.

Email & SMS Marketing:

• AVNT has significantly grown the Gnarcotic email & sms lists with low cost email / sms sign ups, Growing their email & sms lists by over in 1 week that becomes key assets to the brand for life and some of the most engaged customers at drop time.
• AVNT built an exclusive discord for Gnarcotic for their loyalty community and created an “Early Access” code for everyone in there, growing the discord adding 5,000+ members in 1 day.
